Synopsis
Chiqui Chiqui, knowledge of our environment and heritage of our tradition, recovering the memory of a disappeared people. With a traditional recipe based on cariaco (purple) corn, a community remembers their ancestral culture taken away by the ambition of man and the mining exploitation in their territory. A story of resistance through food, in which women cooks of ancestral dreams tell us the story, after they and their families were forcibly evicted by the transnational Cerrejón in La Guajira, reminding us that “Tabaco resists with dignity”.
