The routine and simplicity of her activities are a reflection of her past and present, but do not represent a future. While her strokes come to life and her words are a guide to discover and learn step by step a fraction of her reality. Returning and resonating the silenced or ignored voices is part of this journey, because her story is a reflection of many others and carries a memory of women who were family, friends or acquaintances and who can feel their voice in this journey. In doing this, Amanda allows us to know a little more about her, opening up to the world and showing an invisible daily life in which many Mayan women live.
