Synopsis
For the Tikuna Indians of the Brazilian Amazon region of Alto Solimões, healthy food is only eaten when it is planted with health. Through indigenous agriculture and gastronomy, either by transforming ancestral techniques or adopting traditions, life-promoting techniques are learned and passed on from generation to generation. This short film was made during the COVID-19 pandemic and was shot using cell phones in the Tikuna community of Guanabara III and Filadélfia on the triple border of Brazil/Colombia/Peru.
