Synopsis
Through the testimonies of the oldest inhabitants of the Ese Eja community, the film shows the loneliness and oblivion of the native community. The language spoken by the community, Ese Eja, is in danger of extinction. The loss of the language also means the loss of part of human history. Pablo Radice, director and producer of the film, shows how even though many stories and myths have already been forgotten, the memory of the ancestors strives to remain in the community through dreams. Myths, death and dreams thus become a vehicle of resistance and struggle against the advent of time and the rapid loss of languages. The End of Eternity is a film about ancient chronicles that record collective dreams.
