Synopsis
This documentary is narrated entirely in the Me’phaa (Tlapanec) language and shows part of the ceremonial life of the communities in the municipality of Acatepec, Guerrero. In this community, the authorities are elected under the system of customs and practice, and must complete a number of acts of penance and purification in order to act justly and maintain harmony and peace in their communities.
