Synopsis
Through a visual exploration of their territory, a group of Shipibo youth from the native community of Nueva Betania in Ucayali, Peru, reflect on the importance of protecting their forests to combat the climate crisis. “Let’s Take Care of Our Forest” is a film that calls on Shipibo youth to preserve their culture, traditions, food, and ancestral knowledge related to the use of medicinal plants.
