Hualapulli Liumalla
The mix of the ancestral activities of the Mapuche people with the new times.
|
2018
Synopsis
Since ancestral times, Mapuche life has been based on a harmonious bond with everything that exists in the environment, the Itrofillmongen (diversity of lives). In the Hualapulli and Liumalla territory, Mapuche social, cultural and spiritual activities are maintained, reflecting Kvmemongen (good living) in everyday life.
The Hualapulli-Liumalla Mesa territorial has initiated a process of strengthening its own organisation to contribute to the sustainable life plans of the Mapuche communities. It addresses the need to conserve ancestral cultural practices and at the same time develop new practices for the production of products and inserting them into local economic circuits, such as the processing of forest fruits, gastronomy, handicrafts and services associated with Mapuche tourism.
