In Mapuche communities around the Rukapillan (Villarrica volcano), the practice of Wizun (Mapuche pottery) has been carried out since ancient times. “AWKA KULLIN, Born from Clay” explores the process of creating ceramic sculptures that represent various wild animals inhabiting the native forest, crafted with the aim of contributing to the appreciation and preservation of biodiversity and the ancestral culture of Wallmapu, the Mapuche territory.
