Synopsis
The grandparents of Santa Catarina del Monte, located in the mountain region of Texcoco, narrate in Nahuatl and Spanish the stories and beliefs of the children of the god Tlaloc, known as Ahuaques, the water elves. Deeply rooted in the land, they visit the elves in the bowels of the river, where they make offerings of flowers, fruits and bread, asking for protection and rain, in an ancestral cosmogony.
