Synopsis

A documentary that combines real images and animation and shows how the Nasa people of the Tumbichucue reservation decide, for the benefit of the family union, to retake the traditional marriage ritual, in the heart of a peaceful revolution striving for their spiritual autonomy and to recover their customs and practices. In this ritual, they chew their powerful sacred Coca plant to communicate with the elder spirits, who manifest themselves and decide if the couple can marry, as their ancestors did more than 500 years ago.
