Synopsis
Ecuadorian rapper and director Andrés Ramírez brings his friend Abraham Bojórquez, known as Ukamau y Ké, to life in this documentary built from archives, testimonies and dreamlike visions. Abraham Bojórquez was a hip-hop singer in the Aymara language at the beginning of the 21st century, who died when he was at the peak of his career and just after he had finished recording his second album. His rebellious lyrics and connection to his indigenous heritage make him one of the key figures of the new Aymara music.
