Synopsis

She is Cristina Chiquin, Guatemalan photojournalist. Cristina is the second protagonist of the short documentary series Seres de la Niebla.

“Being able to work through images from our own point of view is like having your own voice and also being able to show that we can say many things, not only with words, sound or music.”

The Seres de Niebla series of short documentaries by the Lemow Collective is a communication project that seeks to use photography and audiovisuals (short documentaries), to portray and raise the visibility of the struggle by many Guatemalan women who, through their work spaces, are creating better living conditions for many women. Raising the visibility of the struggles of women’s leaders provides recognition of their work and contribution to building a more tolerant society.
