Filmed in the village of Ka’aguy Porã, this documentary portrays at the Mbya-Guarani culture and the recovery of the land in the municipality of Maquiné, in southern Brazil. It looks at Guarani music, dance and customs, as well as their struggle for survival and permanence in their ancestral lands. With testimonies of members of the Araí Ovy choir, the film shows the importance of music in the recovery of Mbya Guarani culture and customs, and the joy the choir brings to the people.
