Synopsis
The Pillar of Strength is the story of a boy from the Iban tribe in the Borneo archipelago who draws strength from the spiritual energy released through the God of War, Sengalang Burong. Sengalang Burong, who comes down from heaven as a worthy god and an intermediary between human life, animals and nature, helps the boy to find his origins and assume the responsibility of being a child of the Iban tribe and an example for the whole community.
