Synopsis
In the midst of the Forrowe community’s reflection processes on Mapuche self-determination, and without the help of a midwife, Camila, 32 years old, recovers an ancestral way of giving birth. The documentary interweaves Camila’s participation in the Mapuche self-determination process as we follow her traditional home birth, a type of childbirth prohibited by the Chilean state since the 19th century.
