Synopsis
At the foot of Taita Cumbal, the guardian mountain of the Pastos community, the footsteps of a group of women inspired by the resistance movements of the 1970s for land recovery can be traced. More than 15 indigenous women have organized themselves to be known as Las Cumbalas. They walk the territory to share their knowledge and spirituality. With the spiritual guidance of Angélica Tarapues and the strength of Edith Colimba, they offer rituals in the páramo and the lagoons, create murals, and conduct music and weaving workshops that represent their libertarian thinking and worldview.
